Big Springs in Island Park

This is part of Big Springs, the following picture is of the river flowing away from the springs. The entire river comes from the springs.

There are paved trails leading from Big Springs Campground to John Sack's cabin and Big Springs Bridge.

Very large trout live in these waters and may be seen regularly from these view points. (No Fishing!)

Ducks, Seagull and even Muckrats come to eat here and you can feed them but only this food please.

This is a view from the park area of John Sack's cabin. The cabin is now a museum and learning the story of John Sack is well worth visiting the cabin.

There is a large parking area with a vault style outhouse for those not camping.
