Trail Creek Campground is set on a hill above the Middle Fork of the Payette River. We visited in September and the fall colors were beautiful. The Payette River upstream from camp has some gorgeous fishing water. Some of which is hard to get to, which means a great fishing opportunity for those willing to work a bit. This is a busy area during the season so come early. There are many primitive campsites available along the river if the campgrounds are full.
