Tie Creek Campground is situated on the west bank of the Middle Fork of the Payette River 8 miles north of Crouch, Idaho. The campground is on level ground next to the river with mature trees which provide some shade. There is a day use area along the river where one might play in the cool water.

There are 8 single campsites. The road and driveways are gravel. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit with attached grate.

Yes, water is available from a hand pump equipped well.

There is one vault style outhouse which was clean and well stocked at the time of our visit.

Firewood may be purchased from the host at Trail Creek but I would bring my own.

Pets must be kept on a leash.
Picnic Area
There are many primitive campsites along the river and one could picnic in any of them although there is not a designated picnic area.

The outhouse is handicap accessible but that is all.

Fishing
Fishing is available in the Middle Fork of the Payette River. Check here for regulations.

One might float the river, but no boating.
Swimming
No swimming area but wading and playing in the river is common, however, there is no lifeguard so swimming is at your own risk.
Recreation
Camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, trail riding on horses and 4-wheelers are some of the recreational activities available in this area.
Wildlife
Deer and black bear are common. Do use caution with your food and garbage storage to avoid a nighttime visitor.

Single sites are $12 per day, another $5 for your extra vehicle and day use. Seniors with a Golden Age Pass only $6 per day.
