β° 7,291 ft
Summit Lake Campground is situated on the pass between Warm Lake and Landmark, east of Cascade, Idaho. The elevation is 7291 feet so the evenings are cool even in the dog days of summer. Summit Lake Campground is a nice high mountain lake and is only 200 to 300 hundred yards from the campground. The down side is the mosquitos. I have never been anywhere that there were as many mosquitoes as here. We have tried to camp here twice and were driven away before we could even set up camp. They are so thick I have breathed in several even with a hand over my mouth.
