Spruce Tree Campground
Spruce Tree Campground is at the end of the road on the St Joe River. The area is fairly rough and covered with a mature forest. The campground allows for horsemen to unload and head up the trail along the St Joe River but has no loading dock. There is a hitching rail on a loop near the entrance. The road in is narrow and rough. I would not pull a large RV in here.

Amenities

Campsites
There are 9 RV campsites each is equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. The road and driveways are gravel. The weekend we were here the campground was almost empty. However, a regular camper told us that it was not unusual for the campground to be full most weekends all summer so you might want to arrive early.
Water
There is a hand pump equipped well for water. It is tested for bacteria each month during the summer.
Restroom
There is a vault style outhouse which was fairly clean considering there is no camp host. It has a fiberglass style floor which feels like it might drop you in the vault although they have proved safe for many years. However, I don't like them.
