Slate Creek Campground is along the Salmon River 10 miles downstream from Riggins. Graveled roadways and parking spaces are throughout the campground. The campground is sparsely brushed with pine trees. It is a little open and rustic, with adequate facilities and great river access.

Each camping site has a picnic table on a cement slab and a fire ring. There is at least one site with a pull through driveway.

Yes, there is clean pressurized water
Restroom
Restrooms are vault style outhouse at the picnic area only, but it is a short walk away from the camping sites.

No firewood available at the campground.

Pets must be on a leash.
Picnic Area
Yes, there is a nice picnic area complete with covered tables, extra shade trees and restroom.

No pay phone and no cell reception.
