Shadowy St Joe Campground
Shadowy St Joe Campground gets its name from the river. In days gone by, the river was lined with tall cottonwood trees which spread over the river nearly shading it entirely. Many trees still grow here but not enough to shade the river as they used to. The campground is entirely covered by trimmed lawn with many shade trees. Sites offer full sun to well shaded to suite your preference. There is a boat launch with a new dock giving fishermen access to the river. The hills nearby are covered with a mature forest. This is a very picturesque setting.
