Campsites
There are 7 tent / RV camping sites, each has a picnic table and fire ring with attached grill. The road and driveways are gravel and trimmed grass covers anything not graveled or forested. There was a whitetail doe grazing in one site during our visit.

Recreation
With the Selway - Bitterroot Wilderness Area at hand, the Selway River near, and Meadow Creek running past the campground, there are many recreational opportunities available. There are several trails for hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding. If you find Selway Falls Campground full or not to your taste, use Race Creek Campground. There is a large and highly used rafting facility which you drive through to get to Race Creek Campground, and of course there is fishing. The Selway River is beautiful and would be worth hiking further in for the opportunity to practice your photography or watch for wildlife.
Wildlife
Selway Falls Campground is near the end of the road with the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness Area just a mile or so away. One could see most any big game animal. Whitetail deer, elk, moose and black bear are fairly common here. There are bear warning signs posted so use care with your garbage and food storage.
Fee Schedule
It will cost you all of $5.00 per site per day to stay here. There is no extra vehicle fee posted.
Reservations
No reservations available. This is a first come first serve facility. We reviewed Selway Falls Campground on a weekday in late June and found every site available. Most of the campgrounds along the Selway River and Clearwater River to the south seem under used so I would be surprised if you found the campground full.

I really liked Selway Falls Campground when we drove through it. The campsites are well maintained with the road on one side and mountains on the other. Meadow Creek is just across the road, and the Selway River is less than a mile downstream. The Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area is about one mile up the Selway River, so the things I like surround this campground: solitude, running water, wilderness and fishing. If you want to be near the wilderness without having to rough it, this might be the campground for you.
