Recreation

Fishing
Cascade Lake offers fishing for trout, small and large mouth bass, perch and Northern Pikeminnow. Check the regulations for local restrictions.
Boating
There are several boat access locations around the lake and if you don't have a mooring dock at the campground, you can beach your boat near your campsite. Ridgeview Campground has no boat ramp or mooring dock.
Swimming
Swimming in Cascade Lake is at your own risk. There is no dock, or roped off area nor a lifeguard, but the water is cool on a hot summer day.
Recreation
Recreation on Cascade Lake includes fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, sunbathing, camping and sailing. The Payette River, which is nearby, offers kayaking, rafting and floating.
Wildlife
Since Ridgeview Campground is located on the edge of town, you may not see any wildlife such as deer, elk or bear, however, there are many birds and squirrels.
