Phi Kappa Campground is located along the Big Lost River in the Pioneer Mountains. The elevation at the campground is 7,450 feet so the nights will almost always be cool, but the days can be very warm. We were there about mid-day in July and it was warm and dry. This area is surrounded by very tall, rugged mountains like the Devil's Bedstead.
