Palisades Creek Campground is a great campground for kids. With the creek and nearby trails it would be great fun. The area has a pine forest with heavy undergrowth. The southern hills will likely be bare. The campground has forest for shade and brush providing a bit more privacy than some other campgrounds. The Palisades Creek Trail is very popular for groups to hike.
