There are 6 developed campsites and one primative site in the willows near the river. Each has a picnic table, barbecue stand and fire ring with attached grate on a cement pad. The road and driveways are gravel.

Deer are common in this area and I saw antelope on the way in. A word of caution, rattlesnakes do live here.

North Fork Recreation Site is set in a canyon along the North Fork of the Owyhee River. Juniper trees dot the hills and a few are scattered about the recreation site. Willows line the river and even provide some small bit of shade for a couple of the campsites. The river below camp enters a steep walled rocky canyon with huge boulders everywhere. Shade in the camping area is very limited and in can be very hot during the summer. Bring plenty of water.
