Mt Heyburn Campground
Mt. Heyburn Campground is located on the east side of Redfish Lake on the slope above Sandy Beach Boat Ramp. This area is part of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and is known for the beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains.

Campsites
Mt. Heyburn Campground has 20 tent / RV camping sites. The roads and driveways are paved and the sites are dirt. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring with grill.

Yes, pressurized water system here with ok water.
Restroom
The toilets here are vault style outhouses. They were clean and well maintained.
Firewood
$6.00 per bundle at the hosts site.
Pets
Pets allowed in the campground on a leash.
Handicap Access
Yes.
RV Dump Site
Also at the Central Services area.
Host On-Site
There is a host, but we did not meet them.
Phone Service
No phone at Mt. Heyburn Campground. There is one at the Central Services area.
Garbage Services
Garbage service is available in bear resistant containers.

Redfish Lake is stocked with trout several times a year.

See Sandy Beach Boat Ramp.

Getting There

From Stanley, Idaho, travel south on Hwy 75 about 4 miles, then turn right on Redfish Lake Road. Follow it for about another 4 miles. Mt Heyburn will be on the left, and Sandy Beach Boat Ramp will be on the right.
