Mann Creek Campground is situated on Mann Creek near the northern end on Mann Creek Reservoir. The elevation is about 2900 feet which is not high enough to cool off at night. The days can be very hot during the summer months. The surrounding hills are desert like even though you can see the pine covered mountains just to the north. Mann Creek Dam was completed in 1967. I must be old, because I remember when it was new!
