Lola Creek Campground
Lola Creek Campground is located NW of Stanley, Idaho, about 22 miles on the south bank of Marsh Creek and is surrounded by the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. The land is slightly sloped to Marsh Creek. Lola Creek is a small creek and could be a great place for your small children to play in its shallow water on a hot summer day.

Amenities

Campsites
Lola Creek Campground has 21 tent / RV campsites. Each have a picnic table and fire ring with a grill. The road and driveways are gravel. The setting is forested with some low brush, very grassy and natural feeling.
Water
Potable water is available from a hand-pump equipped well. I did not taste it.
Restroom
There was a new, vault style outhouse. It was very clean when we passed through.
Firewood
You will need to provide your own firewood.
Pets
Pets on a leash only.
Picnic Area
There is no picnic area.
Handicap Access
Yes.
RV Dump Site
There is an RV dumping station near Stanley and another at the Red Fish Lake Central Services area.
Host On-Site
No host on site.
Phone Service
No pay phone in the campground nor did we get service with our ATT cell phones. Stanley, Idaho, is the nearest location for a phone.
Garbage Services
Yes, there is garbage service here. I recommend using care with your garbage disposal and food storage to avoid a night time visit by the neighborhood bears.

Recreation

Fishing
Lola Creek Campground is on the south bank of Marsh Creek for fishing. However, per regulations Marsh Creek is catch & release only.
Boating
I don't believe there is any boating done on Marsh Creek.
Swimming
Yes, you could wade in Marsh Creek or little Lola Creek. Swimming, not really.
Recreation
Many people who are going hiking down Marsh Creek, camp at Lola Creek Campground rather than Marsh Creek Campground. Other recreation includes camping, fishing, and all the usual mountain activities.
Wildlife
This is pretty wild country so one could see most any of the the larger animals like deer, elk, bear, moose, wolves, and occasionally a mountain lion.
