Harrington Fork Picnic Area

πŸ“Œ Magic Mountain Area πŸ“ 42.299269,-114.253278 β›° 4,766 ft
Harrington Fork Picnic Area is the only "Picnic Area" in this area near Magic Mountain. Harrington Fork is at the foot of the mountains and would be very hot on a clear summer day. It is very nice having both shaded tables and sunny sites. Rock Creek runs through is on one side providing water for the meadow, trees and undergrowth. The paths are paved and some are lined with hostas. The outhouses were unpleasant but everything else was very appealing. I would certainly use Harrington Fork for my picnic get-away but I would bring a can of flying insect spray for the outhouses. They were "full" of house flies
