Falls Campground
Falls Campground is located on the south bank of the South Fork of the Snake River about 15 miles west of Palisades Reservoir on a piece of flat land. It is covered with willows and cottonwood trees which provide partial shade. It is a nicely developed campground with extra space between the sites. Falls Creek falls into the Snake River nearby. The falls are about 60 feet high.

Campsites
There are 23 campsites and each has a picnic table, fire pit with attached grate and a camp stove table. The road and driveways are gravel was well as most sites. The ADA sites are cement. There is a group site for up to 150 persons.

Good, clear, cool water is available from a pressurized system.
Electricity
No
Firewood
Bundles of firewood are available from the camp host for $6.
Pets
Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash.

Yes, campsites 3 and 8 are ADA equipped.
RV Dump Site
There is an RV dump station at Riverside Park below the Palisades Dam. As a camper in Falls Campground you may use this dump at no cost. However, remember to get you validation from the host at Falls Campground.

There a camp host on site.
Phone Service
There is no pay phone but we had good reception with our ATT cell phones.
Garbage Services
There are 2 bear resistant dumpsters.

Recreation

Fishing
Fishing can be excellent in the Snake River.
Boating
Canoeing, floating, rafting and kayaking are popular and there is a public boat ramp at Conant Boat Ramp.
Swimming
You can certainly find a spot to swim in the river but you swim at your own risk.
Recreation
The river is the primary source of activities here providing fishing of cutthroat trout, canoeing, floating, rafting and kayaking. There are opportunities for hiking, biking and riding the trails and roads in the hills nearby.
Wildlife
Dear, moose, osprey and eagles are often spotted near the campground.

Fee Schedule
The fees are reasonable compared to other areas of the state. As of May 2017 it is $24 for a double site and $12 for a single site per day. The group site is only $50.
