Evergreen Campground
Evergreen Campground is located along the Weiser River. This is a very attractive campground with nice facilities surrounded by forest. Bing cherry trees are scattered throughout along with huckleberries and edible mushrooms.

There are 12 campsites. Three of them are tent only, 3 are double campsites, and there is 1 pull through campsite. Each campsite is cleared but there is enough forest surrounding them that they offer some privacy. The road and driveways are paved.

Yes, a new well with hand pump. The water had only a slight metallic taste. It was drinkable.

3 vault style restrooms throughout. They were clean and maintained.

The host said he had seen a bear in the site we were staying in just the week before. There are many deer in the area.

Getting There

Evergreen Campground is 13 miles north of Council, Idaho, or 11.8 miles southwest of New Meadows, Idaho, on Highway 95. The picnic area and campground sign are next to Highway 95, so watch for the sign.
