Edna Creek Campground is in the heart of Gold Country and it is part of the Idaho City Gold Rush of the 1860s, elevation 5200 feet. You may see old relics anywhere around here. We had fun trying to find a little gold, however be aware of existing claims where you may not prospect. Your kids will probably love panning for gold in Whoop-em-up Creek, just a little hike behind the campground. We have fond memories of this campground. The temperature here will be in the 80's or 90's in the heat of the summer. The campground is located on Whoop-um-up Creek at its junction with Edna Creek. As you drive in on Highway 21, you will be on the Ponderosa Pine Scenic Route.
