Dog Creek Campground
Dog Creek Campground is located north of Pine, Idaho, 3.2 miles and is on the west side of the road. This area is heavy forest, pine trees with undergrowth, and very woodsy. The road and driveways are graveled. The garbage dumpsters have been moved away from the campground to avoid night time visits from the neighborhood bears. They are located near the entrance.

There are 13 campsites and each have a picnic table, fire ring with attached grill, a cooking table and a lamp pole. Campsites 2 and 13 are double sites. Sites 1 - 6, 9 and 11 - 13 have tent squares.

Yes. It is on a pressurized system and has good flavor.

There is a vault style outhouse which was clean and well stocked.

No.

You will need to provide your own firewood.
Pets
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

Handicap Access
Not bad. The outhouse is handicap accessible and the path to it is cement.

"Steve" had been camp host for 3 years.

No. There is a pay phone at Pine, Idaho, just a little to the south.

Trout and whitefish are available in the South Fork of the Boise River. Check the regulations for seasons and bag limits.

You may reserve a site for your camping weekend at recreation.gov. 7 and 9 are not reservable. The campground was full even in June on a wet weekend.
