Dent Acres Recreation Site
Dent Acres Recreation Site is gentleman's camping at its best along Dworshak Reservoir. Paved roads and parking spaces, groomed grounds and sites, and wild roses throughout add to the charm of this campground. There is a registration gate at the entrance where you pay upon entering and then you may choose your site. Electricity and waste water dumping are available at each campsite, along with showers in one of the restrooms.

Campsites
Each campsite consists of a covered picnic table, fire pit with grill, electricity, water and waste water at each site. If you like privacy I'm not sure this is the campground for you. You will more than likely have a close neighbor who will know what you are having for dinner! However, the facilities are very nice and there is a variety of activities for all ages.

Yes, each campsite has water service available.
Restroom
There are flushing toilets which are cleaned and well maintained, and showers located near the center of the facility.
Electricity
Yes, there is 50 amp service at each campsite.
Pets
Pet rules are strictly enforced. You must keep them on a 6' leash or caged at all times, and you must clean up after them.
Picnic Area
There is a large picnic shelter which may be reserved near the playground and against Dworshak Reservoir.

There is RV dumping station at the entrance and each campsite has a sewage hook up.

There is a pay phone at Dent Acres, but no cell reception.

Yes, garbage service is available along with garbage bags for your convenience.

Recreation

Fishing
Fishing at Dworshak Reservoir. Bass, crappie, and a variety of trout. There is a fish cleaning station available for your convenience.
Boating
There is a boat ramp, docks and marina at the campground with extra parking. There are life jackets for loan at the marina.
Hiking
You may want to hike the 1.8 miles hike from Dent Acres to Dent Bridge.
Recreation
Water skiing is a favorite activity at Dent Acres. There is a playground for the enjoyment of the children, and various foot trails.
Wildlife
Whitetail deer, birds of prey, ground squirrels and other wildlife may be found in the nearby area.
