Casino Creek Campground
Casino Creek Campground is situated along the south bank of the Salmon River ,NE of Stanley, Idaho, across the river from Hwy 75. The southern exposures are sagebrush, however forest covers the remaining areas. The river is fast near the campground with a steep, brushy bank, so access at the campground is limited. The Casino Creek Trailhead is at the far end of the campground and has 2 or 3 sites equipped for horsemen, including a loading dock for the stock. If you are planning on leaving your auto and hiking the trail, there is plenty of extra parking here.

Amenities

Campsites
There are 19 tent / RV camping sites in Casino Creek Campground. However, sites 18 and 19 are unlike the others. You park your RV by the road then walk 50 yards to the site. I thought they were tent sites, but there are no tent pads. This campground was not busy.
Water
Potable water is available from a hand-crank equipped well. The water had a metallic smell to it so I did not taste it.
Restroom
There is a vault style outhouse available. It was clean and well supplied when we visited.

Firewood
There is a sign indicating firewood is available for $6.00, but it comes from the host at Mormon Bend Campground.
