Boundary Creek Campground
Boundary Creek Campground is located at the end of Dagger Falls Road on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River and is completely surrounded by the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. The area is mountainous and heavily forested, but don't think you will be getting away from everyone when you camp here. This is the site of a very busy "put in" ramp for those rafting down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. For the land lubbers, the Middle Fork of the Salmon River Trailhead is located here.

Amenities

Campsites
Boundary Creek Campground has 14 tent / RV camping sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring with a grill. The road and driveways are dirt/gravel. Some of the sites are more secluded, screened with brush, while others are close to each other and have no undergrowth or grass at all. There are 6 additonal tent camp sites at the trailhead. Each of the tent sites have a sand filled tent square, picnic table, grill table and fire ring. Fee Schedule: The fee is only $5.00 per day per site. I saw no fee schedule at the trailhead sites.
Water
The water is on a pressurized system and tastes good.
Restroom
There are vault style outhouses available and they were clean when we reviewed this campground.
Firewood
There is no firewood offered at the campground. You will need to provide your own.

Fishing the Salmon River and nearby streams is restricted. Check the regulations before you fish.

Getting There

From Stanley, follow Hwy 21 about 21 miles to the Bear Valley Road where you will turn right. Take Bear Valley Road (579) 9.4 miles to Dagger Falls Road (568) and make another right. Follow Dagger Falls Road just over 10 miles. Use care driving the Dagger Falls Road as the rafter crews drive VERY fast and can be dangerous.
