Alpine North Loop Campground
Alpine Campground is located on some gently rolling hills on the northeast shore of Palisades Reservoir near Alpine, Wyoming. It sets in a mature forest and most campsites have some shade and the underbrush provides some level of privacy. It was very busy! We had to go elsewhere to find a campsite for the night even though we were there on a Wednesday in July.

There are 16 campsites in the main campground. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit with attached grate. The road and driveways are gravel. There are 3 group sites, Loop A, B and C. A is one large central site, B has several individual sites and a central table area while C is made up of several rather old individual sites.

Fishing
Fishing is available in Palisades Reservoir but the access from the campground is not good. The water is shallow when the water level is up and when the level drops the shallows become a large mud flat. There is a boat launch at Alpine, Wy only a couple miles to the east. Check the Idaho fishing regulations.
