Campsites
There are no designated campsites. If you camp on the hills next to the reservoir you will find dry rolling sites with some trees for shade. On the flat in the wash there are trees along the edges of the wash so you may or may not get shade. However the water is very inviting. I would recommned bringing canopies for shade and definately bring your own tables there are none here.
Water
No, but there is water available at Burnt Corral Recreation Site also.
Restroom
There are 2 vault style outhouses here, one is newer cleaner and located on a hill along the road. While the other is much older and is located in tthe campsites in the hills along the wash. It was dirty and seemed unkept.

Upper Burnt Corral Recreation Site is also known as Upper Burnt Corral Shoreline. It is located in a wash on Apache Reservoir just north of Burnt Corral Recreation Site. When the water level is high in the reservoir the best campsites are underwater leaving a few sites on the hills along the wash. However when the water is low there is a beautiful flat sandy area with a nice beach. We visited in late October so the water was low, keep that in mind when you look at our pictures. The roads are gravel or dirt, no pavement here...
